Assess employees’ commitment to values

How to align commitment to vision and values.

Use formal and informal opportunities to reward employees who show commitment to your business’s vision. Research from Great Place to Work shows that a strong, values-driven culture is critical to business success, and organisations with a culture of strong values are more likely to have better financial results than their peers. Traditional performance reviews provide an opportunity to evaluate how well an employee is embracing your company’s core values, but it can be done more continually and informally, such as referring to value when assessing how a task or role is being carried out.
