The government’s apprenticeship levy means smaller businesses are able to take advantage of contributions made by bigger corporates to fund apprenticeship programmes. A report from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) that guides employers through the process of using the apprenticeship levy notes that when an employer buys apprenticeship training through the digital apprenticeship service, it doesn’t need to have enough funds in its digital account to cover the entire cost of the training at the start.
