Use employee surveys

Carry out employee surveys to discover how staff feel about your company’s leadership, working environment, training and colleagues. Surveys should help to identify areas for improvement and address potential obstacles that may impact progression. There are free online tools that businesses can readily use. PC Magazine tested ten of them, including SurveyMonkey and GetFeedback, providing some basic guidance on planning the survey, coming up with good questions, and interpreting results. There are also good research companies that can deliver such surveys for firms looking to outsource this.
