Write down your vision for your business

How to create a meaningful vision or set of values.

State clearly where you want your business to go. Your vision statement should be a short, forward-thinking statement that also sums up the core values of your organisation. For inspiration, look at these examples of vision statements from some of the world’s biggest organisations, including Amazon, Disney and Google. In his book, “The Marketing Plan Handbook”, author Robert Bly advises business owners to write down on a piece of paper how they hope their company will look after a period of three or five years, using emotive words and inspiring ideas to engage others.
