With episodes featuring the likes of PureGym CEO Humphrey Cobbold, Graze CEO Anthony Fletcher and Snaffling Pig CEO Nick Coleman, season one also includes businesses in the manufacturing, fitness, retail and beauty sectors.

Listeners can find out how these leaders:

• Get the best out of their employees
• Identify areas of weakness within their businesses
• Find and engage their customer base

Be the Business, a national movement created to close the UK’s productivity gap, is firm in its belief that the best way to kickstart overall business improvement is to start small and build upwards.

Host Hunter Ruthven, said: “Small and medium-sized companies throughout the UK are hunting for ways to improve their competitive position – all that’s often missing is where to start.

“It’s The Small Things provides the kind of real-life inspiration leaders need to kick-start business improvement efforts in their own firms. Our weekly guests will be sharing examples of how they’ve taken a step back from day-to-day operations to make those one or two per cent improvements that add up to transformative change.”
